Our History
Safety Today was acquired by Volk Enterprises, a leading manufacturer of food safety products, in 1999. In 2001, Safety Today, Inc. increased the size of its central distribution headquarters threefold with a move to a new facility in Groveport (Columbus), Ohio. The 95,000-square-foot facility incorporates one of the largest dedicated safety products warehouses in the country and the region, and supports 6 other locations across the United States and Canada. This ensures that we are able to deliver to most destinations in one to two days. We carry a multi-million dollar inventory, which means that orders placed by 3:00 p.m. EST are shipped the same day.
Safety Today’s Columbus headquarters is in a major North American distribution hub. The facility is an American Institute of Baking (AIB) approved operation and is proud to be ISO/9002 Certified for conformity to standards for quality management systems set by the International Organization for Standardization.
Safety Today, Inc. is one of the largest full service safety equipment distributors in North America for the utilities, steel, automotive, food processing, government and construction industries.
